I could write a poem about flowers and sunshine
Or about how everyone is oh so kind,
And how every time I see you I just want to unwind.
But that would be a waste of my time
Because at the drop of a dime
I’m a capital B itch and you just wanted to hit.
I catch a fit and ask myself is it really worth this?
I mean I love you, But I can’t stand you!
I’m trying to hang onto this relationship by a thread.
And it really just spins my head
How everything is so good when you in my bed
But you never listen to what I said.
What happened to the time when we used to be cool?
When you used to call me your baby-boo-boo
When we used to stay on the phone all night
And I was never over a silly fight
But now! Hmm now, you listen to your “boys” the rumors they say
Asking me questions like...
“You seeing him? You want to be with him, you know what f’ it it’s over then.”
And as much as I try to defend you feel it’s just pretend
And then when I feel our relationship is at an end it somehow oddly begins.
One day I feel I can’t live without you
The next I don’t want to be around you.
And this confusion is unbearable!
Why can’t it be like the movies?
Why can’t we a happily ever after?
Why can’t our days be filled of fun times and laugher?
But instead it’s just full of cheap chit chatter
And it only makes me madder and madder!
Cause’ you lie
I lie
We are living a lie
This relationship is nothing but a lie.
I have no choice but to say goodbye.
